POSITION SUMMARY:

The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures atlevelnot requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

• The MRI Tech must be able toassistsin specialty areas (ie. O.R.,Invasive.)

• Is capable of assumingfull responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology

• Produces MRI exams and images, as well as radiographsin accordance with established standards.

• Positions, transfers and providesimmobilizationassistanceasrequired.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Other-Fingerprint Required
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Associate Degree
