About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.

D.) to conduct psychological evaluations – Autism evaluations (CDE) / psycho educational assessments with children, and potentially conduct mental health therapy sessions with adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret a range of standardized autism diagnostic assessments, including but not limited to the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition (CARS-2), DP4, SRS2, Vineland, BASC-3, etc.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Provide psycho educational testing (e.g., WISC-V, WIAT-III).
  • Stay current with certifications and training and maintain ethical therapy standards as outlined by the APA and our company policies.
  • Utilize trauma-informed and culturally competent practices.
  • Conduct thorough clinical interviews with parents and caregivers to gather developmental history and relevant information.
  • Integrate information from multiple sources, including behavioral observations, parent interviews, and standardized assessment results, to form comprehensive diagnostic impressions.
  • Prepare detailed, high-quality psychological reports that clearly articulate assessment findings, diagnostic conclusions, alignment with DSM V-TR, and individualized recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in occasional team meetings and case consultations to ensure consistent and collaborative service delivery.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in autism assessment and diagnosis.

Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.

    D.) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field with a specialization in child development or clinical child psychology.
  • Current and valid license to practice psychology in Florida.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the administration and interpretation of the ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS-2, and experience with telehealth-adapted assessment methods (e.g., Telepeds).
  • Significant experience conducting autism assessments with children (ages 1-18).
  • Strong clinical interview skills and the ability to establish rapport with parents and caregivers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex information in psychological reports.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong ethical judgment and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • A compassionate and family-centered approach to assessment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other relevant assessment tools for young children with developmental concerns.
  • Training or certification in specific autism assessment instruments.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
