Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

Position Overview

Center City Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to oversee and execute aseptic production of high-risk Category 3 CSPs in accordance with USP and state/federal regulations. The pharmacist will ensure quality, accuracy, sterility assurance, and documentation compliance.

• Oversee all sterile compounding operations for Category 3 CSPs.
• Compound, verify, and approve sterile preparations.
• Supervise sterile technicians in the cleanroom and ensure proper aseptic technique.
• Review batch records, formula worksheets, and cleanroom documentation.
• Ensure PEC/SEC compliance, environmental monitoring accuracy, and proper workflow.
• Oversee media fills, gloved fingertip tests, and technician competencies.
• Maintain inspection readiness and adherence to all regulatory standards.
• Assist with SOP development and process improvement initiatives.

• Florida-licensed Pharmacist (required).
• 1–2+ years of sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of USP and high-risk sterile production workflows.
• Experience supervising sterile technicians preferred.
