HCA Florida JFK North Hospital has been serving Palm Beach County for over 46 years as a 280-bed full-service acute care facility, accredited as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Located conveniently near I-95, the hospital provides 24-hour emergency services for adults and children. Specializing in emergency care, behavioral health, and surgical procedures such as spine surgery and minimally-invasive robotic interventions, the hospital is dedicated to offering high-quality patient care to West Palm Beach and surrounding areas.

As part of HCA Florida Healthcare's extensive network of 49 hospitals and over 450 care sites statewide, the hospital is integral to providing personalized healthcare services in Florida.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in West Palm Beach, FL, for a Manager of Case Management. Responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating case management processes, including utilization review, discharge planning, and managed care operations to ensure effective patient care and resource utilization. The Manager will lead a team to implement case management strategies, ensure compliance with hospital policies, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires effective leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Case Management and Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification preferred
  • Strong expertise in Discharge Planning and Utilization Management
  • Knowledge and experience in Managed Care practices
  • Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams effectively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license or relevant clinical background is required
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting is highly beneficial
