This is an on-site, full-time role located in West Palm Beach, FL, for a Manager of Case Management. Responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating case management processes, including utilization review, discharge planning, and managed care operations to ensure effective patient care and resource utilization. The Manager will lead a team to implement case management strategies, ensure compliance with hospital policies, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
The role requires effective leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Case Management and Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification preferred
- Strong expertise in Discharge Planning and Utilization Management
- Knowledge and experience in Managed Care practices
- Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or relevant clinical background is required
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is highly beneficial
