The Director of Revenue Management will help lead SROA's transition toward a more automated, data-driven revenue optimization model across a rapidly growing national portfolio. This role is responsible for executing and continuously optimizing pricing, estimated customer rate increases (ECRI), demand forecasting, and revenue management strategies that maximize revenue growth while balancing occupancy, competitive positioning, and customer behavior.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and strategic capabilities with a hands-on operational mindset. This individual must be comfortable working across large datasets, automation tools, testing frameworks, and cross-functional business teams to translate analytics into measurable business outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute and optimize pricing, ECRI, and promotional strategies across the portfolio using demand trends, occupancy, customer behavior, competitive positioning, and market analytics to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Support the evolution from rules-based pricing toward more automated and dynamic revenue optimization platforms, including AI/ML-driven pricing capabilities and structured testing frameworks.
  • Build and refine revenue forecasts, KPI reporting, and analytical frameworks using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other tools to support pricing strategy, operational execution, and business planning.
  • Partner closely with Technology, Data Science, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align pricing strategy with acquisition, occupancy, and revenue goals.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, customer behavior, and market trends to improve pricing responsiveness, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance.
  • Lead and develop a small team of analysts while helping establish scalable revenue management processes, governance, automation, and execution discipline.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing analytics, yield management, or related analytical disciplines within multi-location environments.
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including experience working with large datasets, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, testing methodologies, statistical modeling, and AI/ML-driven approaches to support pricing and revenue optimization decisions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment.
