Infrastructure Project Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within a healthcare environment in West Palm Beach, Florida. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can coordinate large-scale infrastructure efforts, communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, and keep projects aligned with governance, budget, and operational priorities. The role requires hands-on leadership across hospital and clinical technology settings, with a strong focus on delivering resilient, secure, and well-orchestrated infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities:

- Direct end-to-end delivery of infrastructure initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and business objectives remain on track.

- Lead projects involving data center enhancements, resiliency improvements, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.

- Oversee deployment activities across core networking, software-defined wide area networking, and wireless environments.

- Coordinate security-focused infrastructure work and manage system upgrade or migration efforts with minimal operational disruption.

- Partner with infrastructure, applications, and security teams to align technical execution across interdependent work streams.

- Manage third-party vendors, monitor contractual performance, and support effective service and delivery outcomes.

- Track project financials, maintain budget visibility, and help control costs throughout the project lifecycle.

- Use organizational project tracking tools to maintain reporting, create leadership dashboards, and present concise status updates to executives and steering committees.

- Identify delivery risks early, drive issue resolution, and escalate concerns appropriately within established IT governance frameworks. Requirements - 8+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years leading IT infrastructure projects.

- Prior experience in the healthcare industry, with exposure to hospital operations and clinical technology environments.

- Demonstrated success managing data center, network, security, and enterprise infrastructure initiatives.

- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including core networking, wireless solutions, and structured cabling.

- Experience with vendor coordination, contract oversight, and budget management for complex technical programs.

- Proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools, including building dashboards and executive-facing project views.

- Knowledge of formal IT governance practices, risk management processes, and issue escalation procedures.

- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and present effectively to senior leadership. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
