Applications Analyst I – Non Epic

Responsibilities

• Functions collaboratively as a leader, consultant and researcher for implementation and support of assigned systems.
• Primary responsibility for design, build/configuration, testing, validation, documentation and ongoing support for applications.
• Participates in build/configuration, implementation, training, maintenance, and coordination of related applications.
• Works collaboratively with District’s Partners for system design, configuration, implementation, and issue management.
• Establishes professional relationships with users to enhance their experience with technology.
• Participates in evaluating impact of new or modified software.
• Assists in troubleshooting of computer issues; resolves user calls timely.
• Commits to continuous improvement of patient experience including safety and quality of care.
• Ensures communication with end users and project team is effective.

• Associate’s of Science degree in Business, Nursing or other Clinical Degree, or in related field such as CIS required.
• Bachelor’s of Science degree in the same criteria highly preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in healthcare information systems may be considered in lieu of degree.
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in the analysis, design, implementation, support, and maintenance of computer systems preferred.
• Preferred previous experience with implementing, configuring and/or supporting vendor supplied software.
• Ability to become certified within 6 months, as required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
