A Crime Intelligence Analyst I is a non-sworn position within the Bureau of Workers' Compensation Fraud at the Department of Financial Services in West Palm Beach. The role involves analyzing criminal intelligence data, writing investigative reports, and conducting research to support law enforcement operations. The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key qualifications:- Minimum 2 years professional experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, investigations, or data analysis (or post-secondary degree as alternative)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Florida Driver's License required by time of employment
- Knowledge of research and intelligence analysis techniques and criminal intelligence data interpretation
- Ability to write reports and investigative summaries clearly and accurately
- Ability to analyze and review large volumes of data to determine significance and usefulness
