Job description:
Arabic Interpreter Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency for different social services settings
- Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Arabic.
- Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to second, and translate responses from second into first language.
- Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on nature of occasion.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience Interpreting settings
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Fluency in both the Arabic and English languages.
- Ability to read and write both languages.
- Listening skills.
