Legal Assistant

Sellars, Marion, Bachi, Contri & Kantor, P.A., a well-established civil defense law firm with over 30 years of experience in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. Our firm specializes in defending cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, construction defects, and professional licensing.

Legal Assistant role includes administrative and clerical support to attorneys, assist with document preparation, maintain client files, file pleadings, and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations. They will also conduct draft correspondence, and assist with trial preparation.

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
