About Us:We are a well-established electrical contracting company specializing in high-end residential projects. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team.
Position Summary:The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing and procuring electrical materials, tools, and equipment required for our projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical components, strong vendor negotiation skills, and the ability to manage warehouse operations and a delivery driver efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in the electrical contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Minimum 2–5 years of purchasing experience within the electrical contracting or related construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, components, and tools.
- Proven ability to manage warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience working with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
