** What you'll be doing as a Port Checker:*
* + Inspect inbound and outbound cargo - Check container condition, cleanliness, structural integrity, seal numbers, and any visible damage

+ Verify shipment details - Confirm booking numbers, container or chassis IDs, reefer temperatures, weights, and other required data

+ Record and update system entries - Input gate transactions, discrepancies, and inspection results into port management systems (e.g., N-4 IN/OUT Gate screens)

+ Monitor loading and unloading operations - Oversee cargo movement before and after loading to ensure accuracy and safety

+ Issue operational documents - Prepare gate passes, container transfer slips, packing lists, and consolidation reports for LCL shipments

+ Identify and report discrepancies - Flag mismatches in cargo details, unsafe containers, or operational hazards

+ Support port operations teams - Serve as backup for yard operations, door checking, and other port functions as needed
