Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and general porter duties across a portfolio of commercial properties.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented properties. This role combines maintenance responsibilities with day-to-day property upkeep, ensuring our buildings remain professional, functional, and welcoming for tenants and visitors.

Training is available for the right candidate.

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs
• Complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC tasks within scope.
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with property management, vendors, and contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, sidewalks, parking lots, stairwells, and building entrances.
• Assist with property walks to identify cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal concerns.
• Support management in maintaining company standards for safety, cleanliness, and overall property presentation.

• Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, porter services, or a related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with building safety practices, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and basic technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments.
