Position Summary
The Director of Community Engagement provides leadership, oversight, and day-to-day direction for Community Connections, Community Navigation, Jewish Family Life, and Shalom Palm Beach. The role ensures engagement initiatives are coordinated, effective, data-driven, and aligned with the Federation’s broader Community Engagement strategy. The Director oversees constituent engagement pathways, community partnerships, referral systems, program outcomes, and staff performance while fostering meaningful connections throughout the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.

- Provide leadership, supervision, support, and accountability for Community Engagement staff.
- Support execution of the Federation’s Community Engagement strategy.
- Monitor program performance, KPIs, and community impact outcomes.
- Ensure accurate constituent tracking and CRM data management.
- Maintain engagement pathways, referral processes, and warm handoffs.
- Cultivate relationships with synagogues, agencies, schools, and community partners.
- Collaborate across departments to support integrated engagement strategies.
- Support community-wide initiatives, outreach efforts, and events.
- Develop operational systems, processes, and best practices.
- Represent the Federation throughout the community.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Five or more years of nonprofit leadership, community engagement, relationship management, or program management experience.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong operational, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and outcome measurement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform decision-making.
- Commitment to Jewish communal life and relationship-based engagement.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
