Janitorial Operations Manager

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually(based on experience with sales leadincentives and retentionbonuses, total earningscan be inthe mid-$80,000sor higher, providedperformance targets aremet)

Position Summary

We are seekingan experienced, hands-on operations leaderwho leads byexample and isan active participant in theday-to-daysuccess of the business. This isnot a desk-only management position, we are looking for anon-nonsense professional who is comfortable working alongside the administrative and field teams to ensure operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can confidently manage client expectations, support employee needs, solve problems proactively, andmeet operational requirementswith minimal supervision. They possess astrong professional pedigree, take ownership oftheir responsibilities,and consistently deliver results through accountability, leadership, and sounddecision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations for multiple client accounts.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage supervisors and janitorial staff.
• Ensure all employees are properly trained and perform according to contract specifications.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage staffing schedules to meet operational and contractual requirements.
• Manage employee performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Monitor labor costs, inventory, and operational budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities.
• Travel regularly to client locations under management.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding operational performance and business needs.
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3–5years in janitorial/commercial cleaning operations.
• At least 2years of supervisoryor management experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management,and process improvement.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings,weekends, and on call as needed.
• High school diplomaor equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanishis preferred.
• Local candidates inthe West Palm Beach area are preferred.
