Position Overview
As a Community Association Manager at Affinity Management Services, you will play a pivotal role in fostering thriving and well‑managed communities. Your responsibilities will include cultivating positive relationships with association boards, addressing unit owner needs, managing vendors, and overseeing the association's finances. You will also have the opportunity to prepare budgets, lead major improvement projects, respond to emergencies, and ensure clear, effective communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Create, grow, and manage healthy and positive relationships with the board of directors of the association.
- Assist unit owners with service requests and resolve them efficiently.
- Foster relationships with association vendors, supervise quality of work, and ensure cooperation.
- Manage the association’s finances and provide the board with guidance to make sound decisions.
- Prepare the association’s annual budget and analyze expenses to suggest adequate funding.
- Provide administrative support and prepare documentation for association meetings.
- Receive and process important correspondence.
- Prepare a management plan and set expectations with the board.
- Prepare RFPs for job requests and analyze bids for accurate comparison and presentation.
- Respond to and act on association emergencies.
- Manage major improvement projects, including capital improvements exceeding $10k; prepare RFPs, coordinate meetings, and oversee vendor interactions.
- Communicate with board, unit owners, vendors, and government agencies consistently and thoughtfully.
- Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred.
- Active CAM license.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience.
- Experience with high‑rise condominiums and HOA management.
- General computer skills.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (night time meetings and emergency calls will be required)
Salary:
Based on experience
Paid time off: 11 days in the first year, with additional days added in subsequent years.
