** About the role
** As a
** Back Plant Operator,
** you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld's industrial disposal process.
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*** Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
* Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
* Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
* Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
* Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
* Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
** Position

Requirements & Qualifications:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
* * Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
** Valid driver’s license
* Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment
* Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule
** Shift:
*** Rotating shifts, days and nights.
** Physical Demands of the Role:
*** Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
* Consistently work in various weather conditions
