Manufacturing Line Supervisor

Italian Rose Garlic Products, Lakeview Farms company is the category leading producer of fresh produce-based salsa in North America. We offer branded, private label, contract manufactured and food service salsa products in addition to a variety of dips, spreads and sauces.

We are currently looking for hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Line Supervisors on our 1st or 2nd shift. The opportunity will be at our fast-paced manufacturing facility located in Riviera Beach, FL.

The Line Supervisor position is the process owner of a manufacturing line. This individual has the skills and experience to manage a production line with all the processes involved (mixing, filling, capping, labeling, and packing).

• Suggest improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed manufacturing goals.
• Ensure the product manufacturing process is completed according with the recipes (product manufacturing specification) and SOPs.
• Ensure that the production lines are properly and timely set up to run scheduled production.
• Balance and distribute line personnel according to manufacturing plan.
• Responsible for validating that paperwork is properly filed and quality of the process path is followed.
• Ensure materials availability to run daily production. Control materials usage during the shift
• Coordinate with the Production Supervisor any employee situation, workforce planning, schedules, any issue about employee performance, absence, and other.
• Provide mentoring and training to Line personnel (Quality, Safety, basic preventive maintenance activities)
• Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure that GMPs and Housekeeping Standards are met on the designated line to comply with Best in Class. Manufacturing operations. Ensure that the employees assigned to your shift adhere to GMPs and use appropriate corrective action when necessary.
• Monitor the main KPIs of the line (Yield, Quality trends, Safety, Downtime, line efficiency, labor cost) and recommend corrective actions to improve the operation.

• Minimum of high school diploma or a GED,
• Trade school or technical certificate a plus
• +3 years in a food manufacturing environment with previous line supervision experience
• Understanding of manufacturing safety, food safety, food plant GMPs and requirements
• Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred
• Must be able to work OT, whether unscheduled or on Saturdays or Sundays
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment with temperatures at 38 F to 45 F and strong food odors from fresh cut produce.
• Excellent reading and writing communication.
• Basic math knowledge
