- Perform complex structural assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations on aircraft
- Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal and structural components to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and engineering changes
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformity to design, quality, and customer requirements
- Remove and install fasteners and components without damage to surrounding structure
- Assist and guide other team members on methods, tooling, and blueprint interpretation
- Complete required logs, records, and job charging accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S and Lean principles
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4 years of related structural assembly experience
- Familiarity with structural aspects of new installations (STCs, ASCs, etc.) preferred
- Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
- Qstamp preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, use precision tools, and perform close tolerance work
- Basic computer skills and shop math proficiency
- Ability to work with composite resins and materials
- Must be able to work any shift
- Ability to climb ladders and stands, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Education and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required. 4 years related structural assembly experience. Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred. Q-stamp preferred. In a team oriented work environment, under little to no supervision, Structural Mech III perform a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools and appropriate prints, specs and operational requirements to complete work assignment, and ensure conformance to specification.
All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. May assist and instruct other team members.
