Warehouse Material Handler I, II

Responsible for the safe and damage‑free handling of all products and parts throughout the warehouse.

• Perform counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision.
• Progressively improve upon and maintain an acceptable pace of work in accordance with company standards.
• Stay on task with assigned duties at all times.
• Adhere to all employment policies, safety policies and practices required by law and established by the company.
• Wear all necessary personal protective equipment directed by the company at all times.
• Demonstrate sound working knowledge of firearms safety.
• Maintain and keep workstation and department areas clean.
• Report any maintenance and/or safety issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward co‑workers, other departments and the company.
• Maintain respect, courtesy and professionalism toward all co‑workers and the company.
• Execute safe and accurate operation of etching equipment when set up.
• Cut materials utilizing cutting tools as trained and directed.
• Perform basic grading of parts.
• Perform initial data entry into bound book system on all received shipments.
• Perform initial inspection of own work to ensure no mistakes are made in the data entries of the bound book system.
• Assist in preparing unsupervised initial inventory count on products and parts.
• Operate forklift safely; obtain and maintain a forklift operator certificate.
• Provide support to other warehouse areas as directed.
• Complete all required basic paperwork timely and accurately as necessary.
• Other duties will be assigned as required.

• Good general mechanical skills highly desirable.
• Must follow all environmental safety protocols required by OSHA, federal and state agencies and the company.
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people.
• Ability to operate small hand tools.
• Ability to move objects as requested and necessary.
• Ability to accept and follow directions.
• Attention to detail; able to organize and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Work is normally performed in a climate‑controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes, and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate with sounds of light manufacturing, shipping, and receiving. No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.

• Be able to lift objects up to 65 lbs.
• Frequent and repetitive lifting, pushing and pulling of objects.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout the day.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel and crouch.
