Forklift Operator

Job Summary

This position requires operating a forklift on both paved and unpaved surfaces. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast‑paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Pulling product from manufacturing line and transporting materials to designated area
• Operating both forklift and clamper truck (training will be provided)
• Yard organization and inventory management
• Quality control including count verification, packaging, and product characteristics (height, color, shape, etc.)
• Utilizing a tablet for all inventory and loading purposes
• Plant clean‑up
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to follow company production and safety procedures
• Ability to pass internal certification training
• Willingness to work flexible schedules/overtime as required
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. from ground level
• Able to work in a dusty environment
