This position requires operating a forklift on both paved and unpaved surfaces. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities- Loading and unloading trucks
- Pulling product from manufacturing line and t ransport materials to designated area
- Operating both fork truck and clamper truck (will train on clamper)
- Yard organization and inventory management
- Quality control including count verification, packaging, and product characteristics (height, color, shape, etc., training will be provided)
- Utilizing a tablet for all inventory & loading purposes
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to follow company production and safety procedures
- Abilityto pass internal certification training
- Willing to work flexible schedules/overtime as required
- Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. from ground level
