CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join the team at a major Elevator Company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with metal fabrication experience to contribute to high-quality elevator manufacturing. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and can hit the ground running.

salary: $43,680 - $52,000 per year

• Set up, program (as required), adjust, and operate CNC punch and press brake equipment.
• Manufacture precision elevator components from sheet metal and steel plate.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Determine proper tooling, dies, and machine setups for each job.
• Perform machine setup changes and adjustments to ensure quality production.
• Verify dimensions and maintain required sheet metal tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Ensure adequate raw materials are available for scheduled production.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with supervisors and production team members to meet manufacturing schedules.
