This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced cabinetmaker based in West Palm Beach, FL. The cabinetmaker will build, assemble, and install custom cabinets, displays, and event structures using wood and composite materials, following technical drawings and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, fitting hardware, and ensuring all pieces are finished to high aesthetic and structural standards.

The role involves collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and fabricators to refine prototypes, solve build challenges, and maintain production schedules. The cabinetmaker will also be responsible for maintaining a safe, organized workshop, inspecting finished work for quality, and occasionally assisting with on-site installations at event locations.

• Strong cabinetmaking and woodworking skills, including measuring, cutting, joinery, and assembly of custom pieces.
• Proficiency with woodworking machinery and hand tools (e.g., table saws, routers, sanders, drills) and familiarity with shop safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements, and translate designs into precise, buildable components.
• Experience with finishing techniques such as sanding, staining, painting, and laminating to achieve high-quality visual and structural results.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address fabrication challenges, ensure accuracy, and maintain quality standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, project leads, and other fabricators in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and safely perform manual tasks in a workshop and on-site setting.
• Previous experience in custom cabinetry, scenic fabrication, or event/production environments; experience with experimental or large-scale builds is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in woodworking or cabinetmaking is preferred.
