Each member's care is led by a dedicated Chief Medical Officer who collaborates with specialists across fields. Our clinicians also work with the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine for rapid consults, support, and referrals.
As a per diem pediatric registered nurse at Atria, you will provide personalized, exceptional health care to our pediatric members.
Responsibilities- Partner with Atria pediatricians and advanced care practitioners to provide preventive, primary and urgent care to members in their home as well as in the institute
- Provide highly personalized nursing care activities and build strong relationships with pediatric members
- Perform minor procedures, such as vaccinations, phlebotomy, and insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration as prescribed/ordered under a provider's direction
- Perform point-of-care testing in the home (rapid COVID, flu, and strep testing)
- Perform sample collections and processing using medical testing machines located at the institute
- Complete forms and paperwork for members as needed
- Flexibility to perform administrative and clerical tasks related to clinical practice (inventorying medication, ordering supplies, scheduling visits)
- Communicate with primary care and specialty clinical staff in a team-based model of care
- Provide education to members about Atria offerings (e.g., medication kits and telemedicine tools) and care for acute and chronic conditions (including guidance on wound care)
- Triage member calls for possible sick visits
- Maintain professional licenses, certifications, DEA certification, state requirements and national certifying agency credentials
- Documentation and appropriate maintenance of medical records for members
- Current Florida Registered Nursing License
- 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN with regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement in pediatric patients
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
