We are seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON.

• $90K Annually.

Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current FL licensure as a Registered Nurse - RN.
• 3 years of Long-Term Care Supervision experience required.
• BLS certification.

Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON Job Summary:

• Assists in Nursing administrative calls by sharing responsibility for backing up on a 24-hour per day, 7 days per week basis.
• Monitors unit activities, communicates policies, evaluates performance and provides feedback.
• Assists Director of Nursing with managing budget.
• Conducts regular rounds to monitor resident/patient activity and ensure resident/patient quality care.
• Regularly inspect the facility and nursing practices for compliance with federal, state and local standards and regulations.
• Assure proper handling and emergency care of residents/patients, personnel, and visitors.
• Assist as needed in care plan development.
• Attend Leadership meetings and assist in coordinating activities of Nursing Service with other departments of the facility.
• Assist Director of Nursing in the completion of the Incident/Accident and grievance process.
• Assist in determining the staffing needs of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that quality care is maintained.
• Respond to codes and other emergency situations, evaluate and document actions taken.
• May be required to provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
• Monitor and participate in the MDS process.
