Position: Registered Nurse FIRST ASSIST (RNFA)- OPERATING ROOM FULLTIME

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) Opportunity – Day Shift

This is a Full-Time, 40 hour per week opportunity with a convenient day shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing and completion of an accredited RN First Assistant program that includes didactic and supervised clinical practice, as based on AORN’s core curriculum for the RNFA.
  • 3-5 years experience in Perioperative Nursing is required.
  • Must be a registered nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida, possess OR certification [CNOR] from the Association of peri Operative Registered Nurses (AORN) certification [C-RNFA] or eligible to complete supervised hours necessary to sit for the RNFA certification exam by AORN within 90 days of employment.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
