Manager, Registered Nurse; RN - CATH Lab​/Special Procedures

Job Title and Location

Clinical Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab/Special Procedures Full‑time day position offering full benefits at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235‑bed acute care hospital in Wellington, Florida.

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership in the Cath Lab / Special Procedures department.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary team activities to achieve safe, optimal health‑care outcomes.
• Support the department’s vision, mission and goals; demonstrate service excellence.
• Assume responsibility for all nursing care provided to patients, ensuring patient‑centered care and safety.
• Assist cardiologists and allied professionals in assessment, planning, execution and evaluation of interventional procedures.
• Cross‑train and float to other imaging service areas as needed.
• Monitor and respond to stroke alerts; document NIHSS, administer thrombolytic therapy, and prepare patients for endovascular treatment.
• Complete annual stroke‑related training (minimum 8 hours) and maintain current NIHSS training.

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program. BSN preferred.
• Current Florida state nursing license.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in acute‑care specialty nursing; one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current on hire).
