Certified Nursing Assistant – Full Time Nights

Compensation: $16.24 – $18.04 per hour

Department: Medical

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assistance with ADLs, vital sign measurement, and accurate documentation of patient data.
• Maintains professional behavior and prioritizes workflow to ensure completion of all assigned duties while adhering to policies, procedures, and patient safety.
• Collaborates with other health‑care team members, participates in staff meetings and training sessions, and notifies the licensed nurse of any patient concerns or issues.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing procedures and uses medical supplies and equipment proficiently, ensuring proper storage and cleaning.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse, such as assisting with patient care in different units and participating in orientation of new staff members.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant training course.

Experience:

• Knowledge of basic patient care methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Ability to perform a variety of simple, routine tasks while maintaining workflow.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must maintain clearance for a Public Trust Position if required by the role.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with standard computer software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and related database systems.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Nursing Assistant certification in the state of practice is required.
