About This Role

Join NYU Langone Health as a Registered Nurse in the PACU at the Ambulatory Care Center in West Palm Beach, where you will provide safe and compassionate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Location: West Palm Beach, FL
• Facility: NYU Langone Health in Florida
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Carry out patient care responsibilities with emphasis on decision-making related to the nursing process.
• Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
• Involve patient/family and interdisciplinary team to identify a realistic and measurable plan of care.
• Prioritize care based upon data collected.
• Document assessment and reassessment in medical records.
• Implement interventions in the coordination of patient care in a safe and timely manner.
• Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
• Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
• Participate in unit activities to provide patient care in a healing environment.
• Comply with unit-based and organizational professional standards.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required

Experience:

• Perioperative Service OR and/or PACU experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
