Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, intellectual Adult Nurse Practitioners to join our Internal Medicine and Primary Care team. These individuals will collaborate closely with our Medical Director and other departments in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with acute and chronic conditions using a shared decision-making approach.
- Collect, document, and maintain detailed patient histories and examination findings.
- Diagnose health conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, therapies, and vaccinations.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests to support medical decision-making.
- Educate patients and community members on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and health maintenance.
- Communicate test results and treatment plans effectively to patients.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
- Lead and coordinate care activities with other healthcare professionals and support staff.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
- Offer consulting services to physicians and participate in health programs when applicable.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner
