Classification:

Shift: Second Shift - 10 (United States of America)

Starting Salary: $20‑21/hour based on experience, plus 10% shift differential

Scheduled Shift: 2nd – 4PM‑2:30AM

POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures all products manufactured meet or exceed quality standards, safety, environmental and ISO requirements; implements continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and QC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • QC Lab and Process Management (80%) – Knowledge of work instructions, procedures and calibration of QC instrumentation; files lab testing results and enters data into the computer database (JDE); obtains QC testing samples per testing level; maintains a storage system for retained samples; monitors exemplary laboratory practices and test‑result entry; assists in training new employees and 5S implementation; orders QC lab supplies and maintains the QC data‑up system;

    supports smooth production flow and ensures instruments meet calibration requirements; identifies improved QC analysis methods or equipment; ensures ISO
    9001 traceability and proper form distribution; writes daily reports of QC testing; supports root‑cause analysis of non‑conforming products; tests and reports field complaints; continually improves QC lab workflow.
  • Data Collection and Data Analysis (20%) – Demonstrates problem‑solving, provides timely communication; strong Microsoft Office skills; presents technical data to QC team, business leaders; drives product quality initiatives; provides data for monthly KPI reports; prioritizes and allocates work; builds team culture; motivates and communicates business updates.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associates degree in science or engineering or 3‑5 years QC laboratory experience.
    • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) knowledge and ability to present technical data.
    • Excellent organization, multi‑project management, verbal, written and math skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; meticulous and organized.
    • Technical knowledge of cementitious chemistry, epoxy liquids, latex, or other LATICRETE product lines.
    • Experience leading QC lab workflow improvement projects.
    • Ability to evaluate and enter CoA data, meet QA requirements.
    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

    0‑5% travel.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Must pass pre‑employment physical.
    • Lifts and/or carries a minimum of 50lbs.
    • Push/pull 50lbs.
    • Stand 75% of the day; sit 25% of the day.
    • Twist/bend 25% of the day.
    • Squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day.
