The Sales Support Associate roleAs an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, the Sales Support Associate focuses on delivering the brand commitment through friendly, efficient interactions at the cash wrap and a well‑maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work supporting the flow of product from receipt through point of sale is essential to this role.
Cash Wrap Responsibilities- Greeting the customer with a smile, eye contact, and offering your name
- Interacting genuinely and naturally with the customer
- Reading cues and determining customers’ needs
- Conducting email/name capture where permitted by law
- Maintaining accuracy while operating POS
- Maintaining cash wrap organization and cleanliness
- Suggesting multiple add‑ons and selling gift cards
- Maintaining cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy
- Thanking customers sincerely and providing a reason to return
- Representing the Coach brand appropriately
- Receiving shipments and transfers
- Notifying Store Management when new product arrives
- Scanning cartons/transfers and verifying store information
- Communicating all discrepancies to Store Management
- Processing shipment/transfers according to Coach standards and time frames
- Organizing and cleaning the stockroom daily, including offsite or remote warehouses as applicable
- Shifting/organizing product in the stockroom, reacting to sell‑through and making room for new product
- Managing stock levels/product ownership in back‑of‑house and on the sales floor
- Preparing and conducting regular cycle counts, as directed
- Participating in store physical inventory counts, as scheduled
- Maintaining Company Loss Prevention standards
- Analyzing sales floor to assess replenishment needs
- Replenishing sales floor/assigned zone
- Reacting to sell‑through and executing visual merchandising needs
- Supporting sales floor activities as directed
- Communicating price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to multiple customers
- Responding to customer requests confidently and partnering with the sales team or Store Management when needed

- Experience:
1–3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock, sales, etc.) in a luxury retail environment. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. - Technical:
Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, iPad/laptop use, Mobile POS, internet, walkie‑talkie, reading price and product release sheets. - Physical:
Ability to work fast paced, maneuver sales floor and stock room, climb, bend, kneel; lift up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs for shipments. - Schedule:
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic retail days such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, and Mother’s Day.
Base Pay Range: $15.00 – $19.50 per hour. Tapestry complies with minimum wage requirements and other applicable local regulations.
