This role covers showroom operations, visual merchandising, design aesthetic management, and product and sample management to support client engagement and brand presentation.

• Showroom Display, Visual Merchandising, and Design Aesthetic Management: manage product collection display and maintain design standards throughout the showroom, including aesthetic and product presentation to attract customer interest.
• Signage and Floorplan: maintain all product signage (launch, new product, and existing displays) and ensure furniture and accessories are tagged and located correctly in floor plans.
• Showroom Productivity: implement visual merchandising to drive client engagement and ensure the hospitality area is stocked and organized.
• Operations Support: order supplies and signage for the showroom and backroom; identify and procure additional décor as needed.
• Content and Events: contribute to management of regional social media posts related to showroom product display and help coordinate in‑showroom events.

• Plan and design product inspiration packages, create ring sets, and curate additional sample product initiatives.
• Pull and ship sample products for in‑showroom clients or client requests; process samples through the inventory system; ensure samples are organized and up to date.
• Fill and curate sample product boxes for clients and share product and design knowledge to drive engagement.

• The Showroom Operations and Merchandising Specialist is responsible for the organization and stock of the Sample Room and the displays of the Showroom Floor, maintaining a high level of detail.
• Proactivity in identifying opportunities for showroom design aesthetics and displays to reflect relevant, high‑performing products.
• Continuous development of interior design knowledge within Schumacher’s product range and the broader industry.
• Creative thinking to inspire clients to engage with the Schumacher brand and to develop new ideas and initiatives.
• Delivering high‑quality customer service aligned with the company mission in the luxury textile market.

• Experience in a retail or showroom environment or a design‑related degree.
• Ability to multitask and be proactive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong time management, organizational, and follow‑through skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite; strong verbal and written communication skills; positive attitude.
