Position: Mortgage Financing Advisor - (Vero Beach & Port St. Lucie locations) (Pulte Mortgage)

Job Summary

Will require daily onsite work in the Vero Beach and Port St. Lucie locations. Monthly Auto Allowance offered. The Mortgage Financing Advisor is primarily responsible for precontract and preapproval advisory conversations with potential home buyers to include builder sales training and support, mortgage loan backlog management, marketing efforts and relationship management across all stakeholders. This is a non‑origination role that supports loans that have already been originated through a centralized mortgage operations center.

The role serves as a business and production relationship manager and liaison to the Mortgage Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with buyer prospects to provide financial guidance, expertise and preapproval services.
  • Sell the value of Pulte Mortgage to potential buyers requiring financing, setting expectations for application and documentation.
  • Build relationships and provide training with Pulte Group sales consultants.
  • Develop partnerships with centralized operations teammates and ensure a smooth transition from pre‑contract activities to loan application with the Mortgage Operations team.
  • Provide accurate loan backlog status visibility during weekly builder meetings; assist in progress of loans through pipeline to ensure on‑time construction starts and closings.
  • Contribute to branch performance measured by retention, customer service, compliance, and supporting financial goals.
  • Strong partnership with the Sales team to help sell more homes and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Support customer service efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in mortgage lending preferred.
  • 1‑2 years of successful sales and/or business development experience preferred.
Licensing and Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • An active NMLS license is preferred and ability to obtain/maintain mortgage license required.
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey actionable information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proactive and self‑motivated with the ability to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Strong customer service acumen and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with strong time‑management and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Bilingual skills highly desirable.
Additional Information
  • Salary offered plus an annual bonus structure.
  • Office‑based position requiring in‑office attendance five days a week; occasional weekend and/or evening hours for events such as grand openings.
  • Requires driving to sales communities across the Division.
