Responsibilities
  • Grow existing client’s business as well as secure new clients within the Construction Landscaping Services.
  • Set and manage expectations with our clients.
  • Build strong, favorable relationships with clients.
  • Manage all interactions with the client’s decision maker (DM) regarding deadlines, pricing, and follow‑up at the DM level.
  • Handle the financial portion of contracted work, including original contracts and change orders. Monitor small enhancement/change order sales on projects completed by the field supervisor and their client peer.
  • Communicate all pertinent information, including changes in scope, deadlines, and expectations, to the DM even after the job is ongoing.
  • Gather accurate information for the estimating and design team to perform their duties, including all job information and deadlines.
  • Turn over contracted work to operations with accurate plans, proposals, contracts, budgets, and schedules.
  • Monitor and be accountable for project and account gross margin.
  • Communicate with operations to ensure they have client contacts and fully understand the expectations set with the client for every new project.
  • Report on potential and secured sales weekly.
  • Create forecasts for the market to help the company better plan for fluctuations in demand.
Qualifications
  • Sense of urgency – respond to client calls or emails promptly and keep them informed of progress.
  • Over‑communication both internally and externally to ensure requests are fulfilled and clients are updated on changes.
  • Clear understanding of the market and clients, with the ability to accurately report market state, growth or decline, service failures, and improvement areas.
  • Strong networking ability – active participation in relevant organizations, promotion of Juniper’s brand, and sponsorship of events for CAMs and board members.
  • Knowledgeable in horticulture, pest & fertilization, arbor work, and related scopes.
  • High proficiency with office products, presentation preparation, and generating client‑catered marketing materials.
  • Strong established reputation in the industry is a plus.
  • Certified CEU instructor status is a plus.
  • Any and all licenses and qualifications are a plus.
