Compensation Overview
  • Competitive salary during training. Post training reps earn commissions + subsidy until they scale their territory to 100% commission.

Position Purpose

The Sales Representative position offers an exciting chance to fuel our company’s growth. You’ll oversee a broad array of independent convenience store customers, driving sales through our varied food service and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. The role is a thrilling journey of building success stories and enhancing profitability store by store, with compensation directly reflecting these achievements.

Responsibilities
  • Grow sales and profit margins through execution of sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers.
  • Prospect and onboard new customer accounts, including cold‑calling to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Educate customers on convenience and food service programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports with the store manager and assist with opportunities that may arise.
  • Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on any issues.
  • Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for products, to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales.
  • Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven success with closing B2B sales for a variety of product lines.
  • Strong sales ledger travel and effective time‑management experience.
  • General knowledge of food safety standards, including basic HACCP practice and cold‑chain integrity, and must maintain Serv‑Safe certification.
  • Detail‑minded and organized, able to work independently with little direction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct professional, results‑driven customer presentations.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Sales professional with experience and a track record of growing market share.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales and consulting experience mandatory.
