Outside B2B business development executive

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Outside B2B Business Development Executive role is based in West Palm Beach, FL. The position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with commercial and institutional clients, focusing on office technology solutions and services. Daily activities include prospecting, conducting cold calls and meetings, qualifying leads, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, and preparing proposals and quotes. The role involves managing the sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closing, then transitioning accounts for ongoing support.

The executive collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation, maintain strong client relationships, and achieve sales targets and territory growth goals.

• Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation for B2B technology or related solutions.
• Strong Business acumen, including understanding client operations, cost‑saving opportunities, and solution‑based selling.
• Excellent Communication skills for engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and negotiating agreements.
• Account Management experience, including maintaining relationships, handling renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Proven track record in outside sales or field‑based business development, preferably in office technology, IT services, or related industries.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage a sales pipeline, and meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
