ABOUT KTJBKTJB operates in the home and lifestyle sector, specializing in textiles and related products. Our international client base includes retailers, architects, interior designers and decorators, as well as clients working on specific residential and commercial projects.
KTJB is expanding its operations in the United States, with its group activities relocating to Miami in the coming months. As part of this development, KTJB is preparing to welcome an internationally recognized heritage luxury house into its operations, marking an important new stage in the company’s growth.
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and commercially minded Sales & Administrative Coordinator to support this expansion and help establish our Miami operations.
THE POSITIONThis position combines sales support, international client communication, inventory coordination, order management, and general administration.
The successful candidate will communicate regularly with clients and business partners located around the world. The role requires excellent written and spoken English, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work professionally with different countries, cultures, and time zones.
The position will begin immediately as a remote 1099 independent-contractor engagement. Once the Miami office is operational, the contractor will be expected to work primarily from the office.
Depending on performance, business needs, and mutual agreement, the position may transition into a salaried W‑2 employment opportunity.
The successful candidate will receive immediate training on the navigation and use of our ERP system, as well as the other software and internal tools required for the position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide administrative and commercial support to management
- Communicate professionally with clients and business partners worldwide
- Work with retailers, architects, interior designers, decorators, and project-based clients
- Understand client requests and translate them into clear product, quantity, and inventory requirements
- Prepare and execute quotations, proposals, presentations, order forms, sales materials, invoicing, payment follow-up, custom paperwork, and delivery coordination
- Follow up on leads, client requests, proposals, orders, and ongoing projects
- Maintain accurate client, product, order, and inventory information in the ERP system
- Monitor available inventory and help identify stock needs based on client requests, confirmed orders, and anticipated demand
- Coordinate international requests, orders, documentation, and follow-ups
- Respond to requests for product information, pricing, samples, and documentation
- Coordinate appointments, product presentations, meetings, and client visits
- Support existing client relationships and help identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and external partners
- Assist with the launch and establishment of the Miami office
- Provide general administrative and organizational support as required
- Excellent professional English, both written and spoken, is required
- Professional proficiency in French and/or Italian is a significant advantage
- Previous experience in sales administration, client service, office coordination, order management, or a related role
- Experience with home and lifestyle products, textiles, retailers, architects, interior designers, decorators, or project-based clients is preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A practical mathematical and analytical mindset
- Ability to understand quantities, calculate product requirements, and evaluate inventory needs based on client requests
- Ability to manage multiple client requests, orders, and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable communicating with international clients from different cultures and time zones
- Commercial mindset with a strong client-service approach
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable learning and working with an ERP system and other business software
- Based in the Miami area and available to work from the Miami office once operational
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
The position is immediately available and will initially be structured as an independent-contractor engagement under Form 1099, with annual contract compensation of $52,000.
The role has the potential to transition into a salaried W‑2 position as KTJB’s Miami operations develop.
