• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following site‑specific access control procedures, security‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Control entry and exit at designated points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign‑in and/or sign‑out logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate destination.
• Screen packages, property, and deliveries in accordance with site policies, report prohibited items and/or suspicious behavior, and document activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, public areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and report maintenance concerns and security‑related issues.

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
