As a Security Officer - Front Entrance Screener in West Palm Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, verify credentials, and document activity while providing clear, professional communication. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support smooth operations for drivers, employees, and guests.

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and vendors at entry and exit points by checking identification, validating authorization, and directing traffic flow according to site policy.
• Conduct package, bag, and/or vehicle screening as required, document findings, and report prohibited items or policy violations through the established chain of communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as entrances, staging areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
