Security Officer - Unarmed Safety

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location;
Operate entry screening procedures for people and belongings, including access control checkpoints, bag screening, and directing visitors and staff to the appropriate processing areas;
Observe for prohibited items and unusual activity during screening, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or contraband, and report concerns per post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or responding authorities as needed;
Complete required logs and incident reports, communicate screening results and access decisions to site contacts, and maintain the screening area in an orderly condition
