What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization to enter, and directing individuals and/or vehicles according to site procedures.

* Inspect bags, packages, and other items as required by post orders, using approved screening methods and documenting findings per site policy.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through established communication channels.

* Conduct regular and random patrols and/or observation checks around entrances, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21+ years of age.

* A guard card/license is preferred.

* X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

* Access control/badge experience is preferred.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
