As a Security Officer Commercial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen people and/or items, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-specific screening protocols.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

* Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or policy violations through attentive screening and verification practices.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter as needed, while maintaining awareness of operational activity within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Guard card is required.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
