Security Officer Hospital Campus in West Palm Beach, FL

As an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assist with access‑related activity, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
