** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening procedures, badge checks, and/or directional support in accordance with site policies and healthcare location protocols.

+ Support a professional atmosphere by communicating clearly with patients, visitors, and staff, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and reporting security-related issues in a timely manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

+ Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
