What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, managing access control points, and supporting security-related protocols at a government location.
Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and/or delivery access permissions before allowing entry to restricted and/or controlled areas.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access control systems, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity to the appropriate contact.
Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for conditions that could impact operations and/or security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Guard card is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
