Safety and Security Officer - Marriott's Ocean Pointe (Full-time)

We are seeking a Safety and Security Officer to protect and support guests, associates, and the property at Marriott’s Ocean Pointe.

• Shift: 1st/2nd shift including weekends and holidays

• Full-time position

• Welcome and greet guests and address their needs.
• Provide a positive and cheerful interaction as an extension of guest services.
• Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
• Patrol all areas of the property by foot or vehicle with specified equipment.
• Administer first aid/CPR to guests or associates as required.
• Ensure guest and meeting rooms are secure and assist with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Respond to accidents and determine if emergency aid is required.
• Defuse disturbances or altercations following company policies.
• Handle lost and found items: log and return items.
• Use computer systems to prepare and review documents and answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property.

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including full weekend and holiday availability.
• Excellent customer service skills; must interact with guests regularly.
