As a Security Officer Security Screener in West Palm Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and belongings, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This role combines strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service while helping address security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

Mon – Fri: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location.
  • Screen visitors, staff, and deliveries for authorized entry while following post orders, identification protocols, and other security-related policies.
  • Monitor entry points and inspect bags, packages, and personal belongings for prohibited items in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, and report observations through required communication channels.
  • Support orderly movement through screening areas by giving clear directions, assisting with visitor questions, and documenting security-related incidents and/or concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or 5 years security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
